What follows is the
software I used in the making of the MagicClips© CDROM.
Purchase your own copies of the following software and
modify the magic-oriented MagicClips images to further
suit your purpose!
Ray Dream Designer/Studio. 3D models were created in this fine, easy-to-use program. The original Ray Dream files (.RD3, .RD4) are included so that you may create your own versions of these images in your own copy of Ray Dream Designer or Ray Dream Studio. Neither Ray Dream Designer nor Ray Dream Studio are included on the CD-ROM. Purchase your own copy of either 3D software program and your 100+ files on this CD-ROM can easily triple or quadruple in quantity as you enlarge them, change their colors and camera angle and lighting, animate them, and combine them in new ways!
Micrografx Picture Publisher. This image-editing program let me composite my pictures and add effects. Check to see if your program can import TIFF images. If so, then you too can alter the images to suit your needs. Add or change the backgrounds, crop out unwanted areas, add your own messages, combine images for a unique effect, use your image editing program's filter for cool effects, and more!
Microsoft FrontPage 97 & 2000. This web site-building program let me easily put my MagicClips site on the web without knowledge of the HTML language--fast! Included in MagicClips are many images in GIF and/or JPG format so you can populate your web site immediately with these images, without need of a conversion program of your own.
Kudo Image Browser. The good folks at Imspace took all my images and placed them into easy-to-access folders as thumbnail views when they created my CDROM. You open the file of the category you want (such as Backgrounds) and the available backgrounds are displayed. The same image is displayed repeatedly with its different file types and sizes. The image browser saves you and me the cost of printing up a manual, takes up less space on your bookshelf, and is more friendly on the environment.
